Shane Vines a Cairns Local has been selected as an All Australian from the National Championships held at Cairns Indoor Sports. Shane who was captain of the Mens Over 40s North Queensland team had an outstanding carnival as he led the NQ 40's to the preliminary final. Shane left the selectors no option but to choose him in the Aussie side.

The National Titles have been won by Queesland in all 5 grades!

In all 5 grades Queensland has continued their domination of this event, winning each of the 5 grades. The highlight of the day was North Queensland boy Barry Morrison hitting a 7 off the last ball for the Mens Over 40s Queensland team to win by 1 run!
