Cairns Indoor Sports is a family owned and operated business. With more than 300 teams playing on a regular basis, there is a large demand for a dedicated team to keep the centre operating seamlessly and effectively.A great way to earn some extra money is to umpire Indoor Sports. We are currently recruiting umpires in all of our great sports of Indoor Cricket, Indoor Netball, Indoor Soccer, Beach Volleyball and Dodgeball. Our umpires are all employed on a casual basis so that means you can umpire 1 game per week, umpire 30, or umpire anything in between. It is totally up to you.

Once you have familiarised yourself with the rules, we need you to come in and sit a basic questionaire just so we know what level you are at, and then we can proceed with your training.

You will be trained by one of our qualified umpires. You will step your way through the training. Once you are confident and ready you will umpire a game with one of our management team or a senior umpire watching you. Once this is completed you are ready to go.

This process can take anywhere from one night to a few weeks, depending on your existing knowledge and ability and how motivated you are.
